What counts

Two limits, counted separately

  • Preorders

    Campaign orders

    Orders placed through one of your preorder campaigns. Back-in-stock sign-ups are not preorders, they count against the notification limit instead.

  • Back-in-stock emails

    Sent by Essential

    Only the back-in-stock email Essential Preorder sends. Notifications you send through Omnisend or Shopify Flow do not count.

  • Both reset monthly

    1st, 00:01 UTC

    Both counts reset on the 1st of each month at 00:01 UTC, independent of your Shopify billing date.

No paused launches

Go over and your campaign keeps running

  • Paid plans never stop mid-launch

    Pass your preorder limit and Essential Preorder keeps taking orders: $0.25 each on Lite, $0.20 on Starter, $0.10 on Essentials. The bigger the plan, the cheaper each extra preorder.

  • Extra back-in-stock emails are $1 per 100

    Past your plan’s included emails, sending continues at $0.01 per notification. Nothing is queued or held back.

  • The Free plan pauses instead of charging

    On the Free plan, preorder campaigns unpublish at 25 preorders and back-in-stock emails stop at 300 until the count resets. You are never charged without a paid plan.

Yes. Every store gets one 14-day free trial of a paid plan. The trial applies once per store, and cancelling during it costs nothing.
Cancelling moves your store to the Free plan rather than removing the app. Preorder campaigns pause and back-in-stock emails stop once you are past the free limits of 25 preorders and 300 emails a month. Your campaigns and settings are kept.
Yes. Contact support within the first 30 days of a paid subscription and it is refunded through Shopify billing, no questions asked.
No. Early users keep the Founder plan: unlimited preorders and unlimited back-in-stock notifications, free. The Founder plan is closed to new stores, but nothing changes for you and there is nothing to do.
